Over 5 years ago, MCMC began providing a Bill Review and PPO network processing solution for PRMI, which evolved into a full service care management program including case management, panel management, and strategic network development.

The PRMI care management program has resulted in increased network penetration, enhanced medical savings, and improved claims outcomes for Patriot National Insurance Group. MCMC will be acquiring and running the managed care service program as Managed Care Risk Services (“MCRS”), a division of MCMC. MCRS will continue to be led by Tim Ermatinger, as Executive Vice President, establishing continuity for clients and allowing for a seamless business integration.

SAS 70 is the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Statement on Accounting Standard (SAS) number 70. A SAS 70 Type I reports on a service organization’s internal controls placed in Operations while a SAS 70 Type II Reports not only controls placed in Operations but also tests of operating effectiveness and safeguards when they host or process data belonging to their customers.
